Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (3D)

Pirates, zombies, and mermaids, oh my!

It's "Treasure Island" meets "Indiana Jones" meets "Little Mermaid" as the misadventures of Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) continue. All of your favorites are back including Bruckheimer's trademark wild chase scenes, Depp's irresistible character antics, Disney magic, and lots of pirate swashbuckling. The Disney Imagineers applied just the right amount of 3D effects to enhance the film. Jack finally meets his match with the cunning Angelica (Penelope Cruz). The enchanting mermaids with shades of "Twilight" and "Spiderman" may surprise you. Alien like the first film, felt lost as the next two movies wandered aimlessly, and loved this fourth installment as it gets back on course with a three-way race for the Fountain of Youth. Look for another homage to the famed Disney ride and a final clip at the end of the credits.
